Song of the Month Club Announced

   » A new song every month; who could ask for anything more? «

Recently, I’ve hinted at big changes in the way I approach music in general and production specifically, so now it’s time to put my money where my mouth is and share those ideas with the world.

The big idea is this; I’m committing myself to getting my ass into the studio a producing at least one decent track every month, which I will then share with the world on the first of every month. I’ll post that song to this site on that day, and I’ll also notify members of that prestigious organization known as the Song of the Month Club that said track has been posted.

These songs will be in the singer/songwriter vein, drawing heavily on my big influences like The Beatles, Tom Waits and Ben Folds.

Each new track will come with isolated tracks known as stem mixes which will allow others to easily re-mix my work for their own non-commercial share-alike derivative works (see, I’m not totally turning my back on electronic music).

The first track should go live on September 1st if all goes as planned, with subsequent tracks following on the first of every following month until I’m absolutely out of ideas (which hopefully never happens).
