Rough work ready to go on “Coney Island Sideshow Freak Girl” and “We All Agree”
I’ve had this burning ambition for a while to record a few pop songs. When I say a while, I guess I mean a couple of decades.
Anyway, I’ve put together a few scraps over the last few years whenever I could catch a break from diaper duty, and I think I can safely say I’ve got the bed tracks for two songs ready to head into the studio. Listen below:
(No download links. This is very rough demo work, and I’d appreciate it if this stuff didn’t get re-distributed. Thanks.)
- 01. Coney Island Sideshow Freak Girl
- 02. We All Agree
The next step will be to take these files down to Welldigger’s Ass Studios (conveniently located right in my laundry room) for some guitar and vocal tracks. I have to finish up the theme song for the gitpop podcast first, but as soon as I get that done all of this is fair game.
I was just looking at my hard drive, and it looks like I’ve got another eight tracks close to this stage, so hopefully I’ll be able to get a bunch of things for you before too long.
