11t1 trips down memory lane

Wall-E loves 11t1; almost as much as 11t1 loves him

The fine art of recovering forgotten music

Here’s some more discoveries from my back-up discs. I uncovered these tunes from a disc I had prepared for my last 11t1 show back in March of 2006. Of all the none-LP tracks I had prepared for the show, these were the only two not riddled with copyrighted material.

Keeping in the spirit of Creative Commons and all that jazz, I’m keeping all the other stuff to myself (even though my Baby Cham vs. fIREHOSE breakcore/reggae demi-mash-up “Frying Pan” is one of the best things I’ve ever recorded). Ditto for my Public Enemy vs. Rufus feat. Chaka Khan mix.

Hope you enjoy.

Update - July 25, 2008: I suppose, in retrospect, that I should have put a little warning up that these two tracks, especially “avuncul8r,” have some of the most anti-social noises I’ve ever committed to tape. Be forewarned, I guess. And if you listened to the music before I had a chance to put in this warning, or if you just played the music before reading the update, and you blew up your speakers or scared the crap out of your cat or something like that, oops. Sorry.
